Car Accident

Yesterday, Jacob and I were in a car accident. We were driving out to Surprise for Kendon's little sister's baptism. We were on Greenway just east of Bullard (almost to the church). Each side of the road was only one lane. A man was driving east, we were driving west, when he ran the red light, crossed the middle line and hit us head on. I tried to hit my brakes as fast and hard as I could but it was very sudden. Jacob was behind the passanger's seat and I was driving. Witnesses said that a friend of the driver said they had been out all night partying.
Both Jacob and I were very blessed and doing well. We have not heard about the other car, but he was transported to the hospital immedietly. Jacob had to get stitches and he hit his mouth very hard. He will most likely lose his two front teeth. The nurses at the hospital told him he would get $2.50 from the tooth fairy for every tooth he lost from the accident :] I am pretty sore today. I am pretty lucky with only having a bruised and swollen knee, burns on my right arm from the air bag and red scabs across my chest from the seatbelt. It's hard to breathe at times because of the impact of the air bag, but we are doing great considering the circumstances.

Here are some pictures of the cars and of Jacob's lovely face.

Good thing we were driving a tank!! Dad always said if I was in an accident, I would win.

Lake Powell

I haven't posted anything in quite some time, and now I am posting like crazy!! Just remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on older posts to see what didn't fit on our page.
Lake Powell was a blast like always! I didn't put any pictures of people wakeboarding or skiing because they are harder to see. However, Jacob got up on skis for his first time, HOORAY!!!
Here are some pictures, ENJOY!

Logan

Logan seems to be learning new tricks all the time! With Amber's camera, we can post videos. Hopefully this week or next week we will be able to post a new video of him walking.

The BEACH!!!

My dad and Logan

Jacob looking out from our hotel room. There was a skate shop right below us. Teenage boys would gather outside on their skateboards. Jacob loved to sit there and watch them do their tricks. He would stay out there as long as we would let him!

Jacob taking a bath to wash away the sand. He found Q-tips and put them in his ears trying to get the sand out! He's a goof!

Universal Studios

I think by this time we were all pictured out, because this is all I could find from Universal Studios! It was fun though!
The next day, we found out that part of the back lot tour had burned down. How lucky we were to see it before the disaster!
